Somewhere, somehow I caught a pretty nasty cold/flu. I didn't go to work either yesterday or today, though I do feel better today. This is odd; I haven't been sick like this in awhile.

The Boston Red Sox lost the ACLS last night to the NY Yankees. It's very disappointing. The Red Sox have done so well so many times, but have never been able to win a World Series; it's very tough on the fans. I try to keep myself emotionally detached from them, but I can't help but feeling letdown again.

I'm not ready to encapsulate my feelings and observations about the wedding so I will just continue with simple notes about what's been happening recently.

Yesterday we got our pictures developed and they all seemed to turn out fine. I was suprised how well some of mine turned out and I am beginning to think I should be shooting more film to create a more complete record of life since I appreciate the recordkeeping others do that create such wonderful historical contexts.
