Last night we went to dinner with Bob and Irene Lewer at Redwood's restaurant in Chester, NJ. The food was fabulous.
The weather has turned colder so it looks like true fall is starting to settle in. We had a small emergency here in the apartment; the absence of hot water in the bathtub caused the expected concern. Fortunately, the on-call guy at Oakwood Village was able to fix the control valve and we now have hot water.

There was an accident on I-280 near exit 5 this morning. It was a 1-car accident with no injuries but resulted in 4 news helicopters hovering a few hundred feet over ADP in Roseland. It was quite a show.
Got my haircut tonight. Poor Anne Marie - she had 2 lumps removed and did not have full range of motion in her arms.

Saw Dr. Taylor yesterday and obtained new prescriptions. Melissa finally got to me Dr. Taylor.
We received some distressing news a couple of days ago. Mark Weymouth called and informed Melissa that he'd had a mild stroke. They are still doing testing to determine what his prognosis is.
It really alarmed me; he's far too young and too good of a person to have something like this visited upon him. It made me sad and fearful for his future. I've tried to call him several times but haven't reached him. The family may be up in Gaylord so he can relax a bit, so I will try to reach him there.
